Eileen Murphy is an Indiana-born, New York-based user experience and product designer with a strong foundation in strategy, interface design, motion, and front-end development. Eileen is a digital-native with an instinctive understanding of the role of products in users' lives. Currently a product designer at The New York Times, she works on a video-based products across all of their properties and platforms.
She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she earned her BFA in Visual Communication Design in May of 2014. While there, she was the recipient of the Judith Anne Wrappe Memorial Art Award, which is given to two students “who demonstrate the qualities of talent, tenacity, enthusiasm, and sense of humor.”
